The KEU Combustor is a leading combustion system with a burner and reaction chamber designed as a single, compact unit. Waste air resp. waste gases are mixed intensively with the fuel and incinerated in a high-turbulence vortex flow. A central clean gas return ensures a high flame stability. KEU’s Combustor technology features:

  • Short residence time at low reaction temperature
  • Low formation of thermal NO
  • Possible oxidizing and reducing combustion
  • Flow rate variations at a ratio of 1:5 (due to a fluid-dynamic vortex flow control)
  • Low flame temperature (near reaction temperature)
  • Integrated preheating of the combustion air
  • Homogeneous temperature profile after combustion

Reaction temperature: approx. 750 up to 1,200 °C (higher temperature for special requirements is possible)

Rating: 100 m³/h up to 40,000 Nm³/h standard designs
