Glycol Dehydration

Custom Solutions, Technical Innovation

Triethylene glycol (TEG) is the predominant liquid desiccant employed to remove water vapor from natural gas streams. ETI is an industry leader in providing glycol dehydration equipment for natural gas storage, gas transmission and gas gathering applications.

Technical Innovations Available from ETI

  • High Purity Glycol
  • Low Emissions (Low NOx) Burners
  • High Efficiency Reboiler Designs Including Heat Recovery

Equipment Provided by ETI for Glycol Dehydration Applications

  • Complete Systems for Gas Storage and Gas Gathering Applications
  • Replacement Components Including Glycol Reboilers and Complete Regeneration Systems
  • Process Automation and Electronic Flame Safeguard Systems

Emission Abatement – Still Column Effluent
As a compliment to our glycol dehydration equipment, ETI and John Zink can provide enclosed combustors or thermal oxidizers to destroy any hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) including Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene and Xylene (BTEX) as well as Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). Destruction efficiencies range from 95% to 99.9% depending on equipment design.
